The Environment

We recognise our responsibility towards protecting the environment and we are committed to continuous improvement in all our business activities. We are dedicated to achieving environmental goals, both for us and our customers.

We hold the environmental standard of ISO14001, as well as having achieved COC Forestry Stewardship Council chain of custody certification, PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) and FISP (Furniture Industry Sustainability Programme) accreditation.

Carbon FootprintCarbon Footprint

For the past few years, we have calculated our Carbon Footprint with help from the Carbon Trust, ClimateCare and Pure. As a result, our awareness of energy consumption has been heightened throughout the company. This has enabled us to achieve significant reductions in real terms since 2004.

Our ongoing continual improvement programme involves raising awareness amongst all our employees, suppliers and other stakeholders about the need to reduce carbon levels year-on-year.
